Pin & Jump is a small Chrome extension for saving the exact spot on a page you want to come back to: a paragraph, a section, or a single AI reply. Add a note, and it scrolls you straight there later.
Select text and click "Pin selection". Or press Alt+Shift+K, hover to highlight an area, and click it. On ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, hover over a reply and use its pin button.
Pick one of 16 icons (star, idea, question, decision, warning and more) and type a few words so you remember why you saved it. Both are optional.
Open the Pins tab on the right edge, or press Alt+Shift+P, and click a pin. The page scrolls to the spot and flashes it. If the pin lives on another page, Pin & Jump opens that page first.
Everything you pinned on a page gets a thin blue outline, so you can see what you already saved.
Search notes and text, filter by icon, and switch between "This page" and "All pages".
Export your pins as a list with links, ready to paste into notes, docs or a message.
The panel follows your browser's color scheme, copies the page you are on, or stays in the mode you choose.
There is no account and no sync. Your pins stay in your browser on this device.
It asks for one permission, storage. It runs on pages so it can find your pins, and it sends nothing anywhere.
Pins find their spot by matching text. If a page rewrites its content, the jump may land near the spot instead of on it, and Pin & Jump tells you when that happens.
No analytics, no ads, no remote code. Everything it runs ships inside the extension.
